"Too Shy" Short Film (2011)
I. About the Film
Too Shy follows the relationship of a boy and girl from seniors in high school to senior citizens and explores the concepts of love, death and regret.
A man announces himself, this film begins. He is talks about he was not able to say love her because he is too shy. He was always near her but he is too shy so he can't marry her. When he became old man, he knew she loved him when he read her diary. But she has already died. If he stepped into her one step, he noticed the relations that might be changed.

Prior to joining Capital, Hutchins spent more than five years at The Star-Ledger in New Jersey, most recently as a statehouse reporter in Trenton. He led the newspaper’s coverage of environmental policy, the state prison system and Christie’s losing bet on the future of Atlantic City.
Hutchins is from upstate New York and currently lives in Jersey City, N.J.

IV. My Reaction
A. Reaction Point - setting
- The context in time and place in which the action of a story occurs.
- He talked about the his life. But this story was not true.
- Two time progresses at the same time. This distinction is plain and can get into the story.
B. Reaction Point - message
- he regret that it was not able to be said that he loves to her.
- It is important to step forward with courage because nothing begins even if too shy. Courage is necessary to live a life I don't regret.
C. Reaction Point - acting
- playing a character in a play or movie
- Expression of her crying scene and person of the talk
- It was the performance that came that she really grieved. Though he only talks, it is splendid to express a feeling only with a tone and the expression of the voice.
Though it was a very short film, the content of the story was clear and plain.
I thought that this was the movie which could teach a lesson not to spend the regret life. I think it is important for spending great life to have courage.
How to use BGM was good, and I was drawn into this movie immediately. And though two chronological order progressed at the same time, it was expressed clearly.
It was easy to see it by my favorite childhood friend setting and was interesting.
